will doing mtech (biotechnology) help in getting jobs in biotech feild easy?

Hi... I hv finished my BE in Biotechnology in 2010 & now preparing for mtech. In this 1 yr I tried a lot for job in biotech company but couldn't get into any since i am fresher. So I worked in a food industry. Now I m preparing for mtech. Can u pls tel me if  doing mtech will increase my chances of getting job or it wil b d same? Also is it really important to undergo spl courses 2 get placed in companies?
